sporadic fuel gauge, what parts ... my little gas gauge behind my wheel keeps moving back and forth for a few minutes when im driving my car, then it will go towards the full side and stay there. it changes a little when i add fuel.
so i took the car to an automechanic to check it out. He says I might need a
"level sender fuel modular" &/or "level sensor dial"
he wanted too much money to fix it so I didn't have him do anything.
There is another guy who says if i bring him the parts he will install it for $100. So I need to know which parts I needed.
"level sender fuel modular" (the pump is working i guess...but they are sold together)
& a "level sensor dial".
HOWEVER im not sure if i need one of the two, or both. would anyone know?
