My question is-When installing my headers can you clean the o2 sensors before reinstalling them or should i leave them alone.

I left mine alone on my 01, they looked pretty good to me. I think the sensor is actually inside that cone so I don't think it helps to clean them unless the little slots are clogged then it may help?

Alot of sensors go bad after headers. Best advice is get some bolts to plug the holes and run the car up to operating temperature then install the sensors. It will burn of any coating, paint, oil, rust inhibitior, etc. in pipes so that you don't contaminate the 02s.
