Not sure
Not new here, but I wasnt sure which forum to ask this so i figured I'd ask it here and go from there.
I was thinking about upgrading my headlights and getting some true HIDs. How much am I looking to spend? Where could I find more info? Anybody reccomend any certain brand/model? And Im running the stock monsoon system with no plans of upgrading it, with the HIDs will it draw too much power and screw with the electrical system?
Thanks in advance guys.

HID headights are aruond 400-600 dollars for just the kit, then you must use the upgraded bulbs. Contact APC to see if they know of anyone that makes the kit, I think they do but I don't recommend anything from them. I say this because I sell their products at work and they seem to have a high failure rate and quality issues.

Look in the "Appearance & Detailing" and "Stereo & Electronics" sections. Do a search for HID, and you'll find plenty.
Basically, you can go completely custom or use some rebased bulbs and ballasts. The rebased route is cheaper and easier but doesn't produce an accurate beam pattern. There is a link around here somewhere to a site with lots of info on lights and beam patterns.
Here are a couple links to get you started:

I found more. These are just a few to get you started. Kits are available from a few different places. If you do some searching, you might find the thread where someone cut the backs of the 98+ Camaro headlight housings to fit actual projector units like in the firebird in one of the links above.
