Angry Y-Pipe Problem

I installed jet-hot headers on my car last night. The y-pipe I got was from QTP, an ory with manual cut-outs, which they told me would fit.

First off it took three people to get the y-pipe to even go on, and now with the car in park it rests against the floor of the car. When I put in reverse it bangs the bottom of the car.
Should I be having such a hard time with this? Did QTP lie about it fitting my headers? I am about ready to buy a hooker or tsp ory and sell the qtp. I would like some advice on this? Thanks.

I can't say about the Jet-Hot headers but with the SLP LT's you need to install the y-pipe before tightening the header bolts down, if you tried to install the y-pipe after you had already tightened down the header bolts that could explain why you had a hard time installing the y-pipe.

Like DARK AGE say's you might want to loosen up the header bolts and adjust it again.
