Killed cool guy in 2002 Z28 A4 Ok...here is a not-so-exciting kill story......I was driving home from my sister's house after the Monday Night Football game and noticed some Camaro lights ahead of me.
My top was down even though it was in the high 40's (hey, thats freezing by SoFla standards).
I pulled up to the light and looked over at the guy. He had dark tint so I couldn't tell if he saw me or not. It was a Red 2002 Z28 A4.
Light goes green and I roll slowly away from the line...so did he.....until he hit it! So...I hit it too! I caught up and proceeded to start walking away. We both stayed on it til around 70-80.
Next light he rolls down the window and we chat a bit. He says he is bone stock down to the paper filter. We go again from the light. Same result. We go from a roll a few more times...and of course....I still beat him.
We pulled off at a gas station a mile up the road and chatted for about 10 minutes. He was a cool guy named Matt. I told him to spend $100 and slap a lid on that thing! He said he had an 04' vette that was stock too....said it ran 13.1, maybe he'll bring that one out to play next time.
Summary....
I raced a stock 2002 A4 Z28 and beat it every time.
The guy was cool.
