Help burns fuse on fuel pump in gear

Help burns fuse on fuel pump in gear Its a 86 s-10 standard. Problem is when you put in drive and start to take off it burns the fuse. You can leave it idling for hours but once you take off it burns the fuse. 1st gear or reverse it pops a fuse. I'm stuck can anyone help? The only thing i replaced was the fuel pump.
