Default Any experience with repo's

I found a car finally but i want to know a little bit about some stuff....first off it's is a 2001 z28, black, m6, has 35,293 miles on it...it is at an auction and it says it has a repo certificate....so first off does it mean that it has be repossesed and is now being sold....if so how well do these cars typicall hold up...to me i would think that if they couldn't afford the car then they couldn't afford to take care of it...let me know what yall think...i need to know so i don't buy crap...someone will be there too look at it..but that says nothing as far as maintenance

Usually repo's are just as good as buying the car from a dealer or an individual. If its in the states dealers auction chances are a dealer will buy it and sell it from their dealership if you dont. With 35k on it i wouldnt worry too much, just have whoever is looking at it for you check it out. Mine was a repo and I love my car and have no problems with it. Hope this helps

I have had bad luck with the last 2 cars i had, one was a maintenance nightmare, the other the block cracked. Both were BMW's, not brand new,97, but this one has been great. execpt having to rebuild the tranny, which is expected with how many miles are on it now, and there was also a problem with some 4l60e's from the factory, but since this one is an M6 your all good. And im sure u know about all the good stuff that came with the 01 02 cars, like the slave and master cylinder and intake n stuff

i'm sure it will be worth it in the long run...since i can get this car for <12k...i'm looking around 10-11k for this car...so that will be nice not to have to spend 500 on an intake....and fix the clutch whenever it goes bad...
