Default is it possible?

I just bought some new wheels. 18x8 front and 18x9 rear(+38 on both), and I was wondering if I could squeeze 255/35's on the front? I dont mind a little bulge, just wanted to see if anyone else has done this assuming it is even possible. Help please?!

A 255 is reccomended for use on a 8.5-10" wheel. If it were me i would just stick with a 245, the difference in width is hardly noticeable.

I think it's doable. Might not be the absolute safest, but I don't see it being a problem.

I would buy 245's but I got a deal on some 255's that I just cannot pass up. Is it too dangerous to consider? Will shops not mount/balance them for me? Thanks again.
