What is the diff between LS1 and LS6 pumps?

ls6 flows better and is more reliable

Thanks! Yeah I think I am just going to get a new LS1 pump and port it and shim it... Wont be hard to port it...

No problem. I was just reading about this the other night....I'm sticking with my LS1 pump as it never goes below 45 even at idle.

Just get a 2001+ oil pump, they all got LS6 pumps at that point.
