Default Differeces between truck and fbody 4L60E?

I have a friend who has a truck 4L60E out of a I think a 01 Silverado. Will this tranny work with my 00 LS1? I have a broken 99 Fbody 4L60E I can swap parts from if I need to.

you will need to swap the tailhousing...very easy...5 minute job. Also need to swap the gear selector arm...trucks sticks out further. That takes about 10-15 minutes. I had no idea how to do it but it was easy to figure out

Thanks! I am going to pull my th400 out and try out a 4L60E one more time since this one is so cheap. Hopefully it will last at least 6 months. Overdrive is nice on a street car.
