Default HELP PLEASE!!! Throwin codes...

Hey guys I just bought my first LS1 car two days ago and here come the problems already.... First off I drive a 98 SS 6 speed, 63.5k on the clock.... looks real nice inside and out, but i know that means squat... anyways Im driving on the highway today in 6th gear and all the sudden my SES light comes on... I go get it checked out and heres what I get :

P0118 and P1134... I looked these codes up but what I found meant nothing to me... can someone explain these two codes to me in terms that I will understand, and possible get me going in the right direction to take care of these problems??

Also, does anyone know if Texas Speed in Wolfforth will shoot me straight about my transmission, it acts a little funny... thanks alot - darren

the coolent temp sensor is on the drivers side of the motor right on the head below the valve cover it has a small plug on it, and easy to get to from the side of your car in the engine compartment, the o2 sensor is just a screw off and screw on thing, its pretty simple, jes

Yes, it's screwed into the exhaust manifold just before the cat, below the #5 plug.

P1134 HO2S Transition Time Ratio Bank1 Sensor 1

Bank 1 is Driver side, Sensor 1 is front

So in front of the cat on driver side, that O2 sensor, screwed into the manifold
