I'm doing a cam install soon and I'm trying to get all my ducks in a row, so to speak. Somewhere I saw a small metal tool with teeth matching the flywheel so you can get the balancer bolt out. I can not for the life of me find one, I checked at Sears, Autozone, Car Quest, Harbor Freight and Snap-On, and called a Chevy dealer today. Anyone know where I can find one?

Yes I know about the screwdriver method. I have also seen the big thing that code4 is selling, but I think there has to be a cheaper way to get it done.

use a impact gun, take the fans out to get the gun to fit

Ideally that's what I'd do, but an impact gun won't do much with no compressor

Why do you need a locker? Put the car in gear. Driveline/flywheel/crank won't turn.

In a manual it won't turn, but in an auto it will. I found the tool, thanks to DrkPhx, Kent-Moore makes one.
