I have the GM/Bosch 42# Injectors that they run in the World Challenge cars.

These are suppose to be the same injectors the Pontiac GTP cars run and are said to be 36.5# injectors at the GTP rail pressure. I believe PSJ used to run these same injectors.

Does anyone know what the GTP fuel line/Rail pressure is - i.e. what these were rated at?? TIA.

Okay...Here is what I found in a search ->

Some confusion as to 36 or 36.5 # but the rated pressure (GTP) seems to be 52 psi.

At 36# my IFR should be:

KPA 0 5 10 15 20 25 30
4.79 4.83 4.86 4.88 4.92 4.93 4.96

KPA 35 40 45 50 55 60 65
5.00 5.03 5.07 5.09 5.10 5.14 5.17

KPA 70 75 80
5.20 5.22 5.25

Vacuum referenced values - Vacuum 80 kPa = 20 kPa Absolute



Anyone see anything wrong here?? Suggestions?

I ran the GTP injectors and Matt Harland called them 39.5's frequently.

Thanks PSJ - Im can't imagine Harland was wrong....now I'm totally confused with my IFR.

Perhaps PM Intmd8 at www.ls1speed.com he used to tune those injectors for me.
