Default hood paint question

i was thinking of ordering ahood off e-bay thats a ws6 replica made of plastic like the ws6 hoods are and they have an option to come painted factory colors my question is do you think it will match up or should i get it un painted and have it blended in to the front end

with an item as big as the hood i would not order it painted. Especially SOM! Just get a local shop to match the paint.

yea it seems kinda hard t get the match but my real question is blend it or just shoot the hood i mean hell theres a big difference in price between the two

my paint was in almost new shape when i got my ss hood put on so they were able to just paint the hood with a computer match. They did not blend in the fenders and it actually matches almost perfect.

FWIW, there were no plastic hoods, only steel or fiberglass.

im pritty sure the ws6 oem hood is not fiberglass but like the front panels is made of a engineered pastic like the corvettes are made of.. very simlar to fiberglass but mure durable...

Nope, it's fiberglass. I've seen them busted up.

The plastic like material is ABS plastic. The front and rear bumper covers and the front fenders are all ABS. The doors are completely fiberglass as well as the TA wings. The rear fenders and hatch are steel.
