I just put a cam in my camaro and I was wondering what the stock cam specs are for a 2004 4.8 silverodo tuck a4
my camaro is a 98 a4 z28 5.7
I can't find the 4.8 cam specs anywhere.
if so would be a noticeable differnce and what about stock truck springs or would it be better to use the stock ls1 spings?

i think they r something like 191/190-.44x/.44x-114... the '98 LS1 cam has an LSA of about 119... it would move the powerband up way too high for heavy truck,it would have no low-end to it and feel sluggish...

ok thanks for the help.
I would like to put a new cam in my truck.
I use it to pull my car to the track and could use a little more pulling power. looks like that idea would make it have less.

I have a cam out of a 02 C3500 6.0L motor. Dont know what the specs are though. I'll let it go for $75.
