Default torque converter question

As the title says, i have a few questions about them..well actually two. But any input or suggestions are greatly appreciated. I've been looking into these for a few weeks now. I was sold on a 3500 stall, but im now worried about how much my gas mileage will suffer if i go with this high of a stall. I do drive my car daily (weather permitting), so i don't want a huge loss of mileage. Would i just be better off getting a 3000 stall? or will there even be a noticeable difference between a 3000 or 3500? if there's not much of a difference, i may as well get the 3500. Thanks for the input.

Personally I don't think there would be much of a difference. Once you're up to speed, and the converter locks up there will be no difference from stock with either choice. There will be a noticeable decrease in fuel economy in stop and go city driving either way you go. But hey, you're driving a modified v8 american muscle car, who gives a **** about gas mileage??

I went dropped 2 tenths going from a 3000 to a 3600 stall. The gas mileage remained unchanged as well. I prefered the 3600 in my DD.
