Cometic head gaskets and GM head bolts? Is it okay to use Cometic(.040) head gaskets with the GM factory torque to yield head bolts? I was told these gaskets need to be retorqued but that's impossible with the GM bolts. This is on a 02LS6 block. Thanks!

They do not need to be retorqued call cometics. No reason to retorque a gasket.
Lots of people retorque the arp bolts but not the stock tty bolts.
BTW I am assembling with stock bolts and cometics as well.
