Default Fuel Tank

I am looking for a company that can fabricate a fuel tank for my 68 Camaro with a 2002 LS6. I want to put the tank in the trunk. I found one company that will do it called Rock Valley. They said that they put an internal fuel pump it it. Is an internal fuel pump a good way of doing it or should I go with a Vortec external fuel pump. If internal is ok to do, which pump would you recommend to install?
