wheel gurus!!
ive got a question - im looking at starting to mod my car, and its a daily driver, so i have focused primarily on cosmetic mods so far, as i havent decided what exactly i want to do powerplant-wise. anyhow, i have a 1999 ss, m6 and want to get new wheels and tires. i have done expansive searches about wheel sizes, offsets, backspacing and to be honest, my head is spinning. here are my options:
ZR1 replicas
17x9.5 - +56mm offset
17x11 - +50mm offset
275/40-17s and 315/35-17s
18x9.5 - +54mm offset
275/35-18s and 295/35-18s
Z06 replicas
complete set
18x9.5 - +56 or +50mm offset
275/35-18s and 295/35-18s
staggered
18x9.5 - +50mm offset
18x10.5 - +56mm or +36mm offset
same tire sizes as above
out of all these scenerios, which would be the best and would require the least amount of fabrication to the fenders and wheel wells??
thanks for all the help!!!

The 18x9.5" ZR-1's will require the least amount of work...along with the 18x9.5 Z06 replicas. But IMO they'll look the worst.
Our cars need staggered wheel widths b/c our fenderwells are so staggered. Go with the staggered Z06 rep's if you are lowered and the staggered 17" ZR-1's if you are not lowered.
