Default **Racers Poll** Who's removed their bumper supports? Does your front clip sag?

This question is for all those who race somewhat often/all the time, wether it be street or drag street and have removed their front bumper supports. Please list how long yours has been out. Also, please list if you've done something to support the clip after pulling out the stock support. Thanks guys !!!!

my looks good so far, no sagging. Been out about 3 months now and I drive my car daily 100mi to and from work. Other than no foglights I can't tell a difference.

I bolted it up just as it was before but without the support.

No problems here.
I didn't support it with anything.
its been out for 8 months 4000miles.
raced almost every weekend during season.
I also removed ac and bumper grille and get alot more airflow in the front now.
it doesn't flap around or move at high speed.

Mine's been out since October and still looks great. I probably wouldn't do it on a TA, but on my camaro it has worked out fine.

Same here. Mine did sag a bit because I did not replace the two screws by the head lights. After putting them back in it looks just like stock. All the under carriage plastic is gone that attatches to the bumper cover, so that takes a bit of the weight off that would cause it to sag.

Mine was out all summer with no problems. I am going to work on some sort of brace for next year though. I intend on going quite a bit faster and dont want to have a problem. This is on a TA also, so it can be done with out problems but it may start to sag over time(I don't realy want to find out though).

Mine looks good, no sags with no support added. It's been out for well over a year now and is raced regularly.

My 98 Formula nose does not sag, and it's suprisingly sturdy. I have this sense that Camaro front ends sag more though, but no proof.

ive seen a few at the track that dont nessarily sags, but when they got up to about 150mph, the air flattened the nose, becasue of no supports, i am going to make some supports on mine.
