Default Z06 PMC Timing

What is the standard timing setting for an 04 Z?

What would be a excellent setting range for one with heads, cam and standard bolt-on's
Thank's

Stock WOT timing is 22 degs. of max advance...With heads, cam, headers, your max timing could be just about anything from stock to 28 degs. of advance...It all depends on what compression ratio you are running, the cam overlap etc.

May need to keep advancing the timing until you see KR, then back down a couple degrees...

I'm currently running 28 degrees of advance with my mods...

Peace...Gman

I see we have very similar set-ups. My timing is 26 degrees, but I think i need more timing or less and more fuel on my PMC at 4K-4.4K The dyno chart 4K-4.4K, shows a lull there before it takes off again...

What are you dyno # with you set-up now, I'm courious.....

I don't have any dyno numbers after the cam install...Just the seat of the pants meter and lots of logging with HPTuners...Have a hard time swallowing $550 charge they wanted to do the dyno tune...

Peace...Gman
