Default Any A4's gone from 3.23s to 3.42s?

I have the chance to pick up a free set so I was wondering if you felt ANY gains at all. I'm trying to build a decent rear-end that will hold up to several 1.5 60' and figured this is as high a gear as I could go without risking much. Keep in mind this is a street car with a decent sized cam, 4400 stall, and every bolt on.

I went from 3.23's to 3.42's because it was the 10bolt I could get cheap when my original one was going. (Didn't have the money for a 12 bolt). I could feel a little difference. (This was on stock internals, stock coverter still at that point.)
