knock retard 11 ? Hi,
I just had a 224/114 cam installed in my 99 C-5, M6, I was scanning with HPtuner and had a bunch of areas with KR. 3200/.40=3, 4000/.40to.52=11 and 4400/.32to.52=10 and 4800/.36=6. This happened when my TPS was between 40 & 60%, at WOT I did not have KR, basically Im using the stock timing table and in these areas its about 30 to 28, so the retard is bringing it to 20-18. Could this be false knock from the valve train noise, could it be something with torque management or traction control. Or do I need to bring the timing down in these areas to the low 20's. My LTFT are 2 to -4. Thanks Chris
