slp ram air h.o. hood and need ideas...
i have the slp ram air h.o. hood on my 99 formula... but i am thinking about making the hood actually functional by opening up the nostrils on the hood by the mount... now if i did this would there be enough strength in the fiberglass to keep the hood down? also my other thought was to cut some heat extractor vents near the windshield where they would be out of view so that heat could escape there... i am not totally sure about the ram air concept but would this work? if so and if not, could you guys give me some ideas on this? any help or comments is appreciated.

The first thing I did when I got mine was cut that basterd. It is strong enough, I left the bottom of the opening alone and cut about 2 1/2 inches off top, this is the back side. The only down fall is rain. I dont drive mine in the rain so Im fine.
