Default Shocks?

I figure I would get a totally different response in the handling forum, so I decided to post here.

What shocks are you guys running that daily drive their vehicles but run occasionally at the strip? What shocks do you recommend?

I am thinking about getting Koni SA so it rides nice and has a little adjustment (better than stock or Bilsteins). And if I want more weight transfer I'll disconnect the front sway bar or something. Or should I go with other shocks? I won't be autocrossing, road racing, or anything like that. Just A LOT of street driving (highway) and occasional strip. Thanks!

So nobody daily drives a vehicle with aftermarket shocks that they take to the strip occasionally?

I daily drive in the summer with QA1 "R" series in the front and regular QA1s in the rear. With my Hypercoil springs it's fine on the street and there is plenty of adjustment so you can pick the ride you like. The QA1s might be alittle overkill if you just go to the track a few times a year.

Thanks, anyone else?

I want a better ride and I want decent shocks for occasional strip, but I don't know whether I should spend extra money for Koni SA, just go with Bilstein, or if a drag shock like the QA1's would be better.

Who else?
