Question Zo6 with a 3.73 or 411?

I have 463rwhp In a 346cid... My car has a 3.73 In my car now from Lg Motorsports... He told me its to low for him and that he would trade straight up? So, I told him I would think about it.

While the 4:10's are perfect for cars not putting out a ton of power the 3:73's are better suited for you if you want to be able to hook up at all. I had 4:10 and they rocked until I hit the juice. Then, all hell broke loose and traction became a major issue. If you look at the high hp Vettes they are usually running 3:42's I'd say you are right on the line between the 2 gears. I'd keep the 3:73's if it was me.

3.42 or 3.73 - either or. Stock +bolt-ons I would prefer 3.73. But you can't go past 3.42 for economy and performance in high HP cars.

Don't know what I was thinking, you have an M12. So, with an M12 the 3:90's are like the 4:10 with an M6. So, I would definately not do the 4:10's with your setup. To much gearing. HTH, Andy
