Painting vs Powdercoat: Engine Parts

Has anyone painted their TB or MAF ends with a high temp paint rather than having them powder coated?

I painted mine.

No problems, although powdercoat may be more durable.

What did you use? brake caliper paint or just regular paint?

And why can I never get the photos in your web page to show up?

It shouldn't really get hot, so you can just paint it with regular paint. You should primer it first, though, to ensure it adheres properly.

Prep ,prime and paint also etching primer seems to work the best

What is etching primer? never heard of it.
