Default 6.0L choices for power in a 4x4

I currently have a high mileage 6.0 (about 135,000), and plan on a magnacharger (work at a authorized dealer, so this is pretty certain). My 6.0L has iron heads, and was thinking of getting the lq9 service replacement 6.0L from gm, and putting a cam in it. Any ideas on a good cam for a 4x4? My truck has 38x15.50R18s on in and has 4.88 gears now, just not enough power for me and towing my trailer. Maybe a production ls6 cam? something that'll work best with the magnacharger and still get me low end would be preferable.

I don't know if I would use the LQ9 for a magnacharger application. It has higher compression. I guess it will be fine for LOW boost, but even at 4.5lbs you may be pushing it. A stock LQ4 rebuild with the lower compression dishtops should suffice with a decent cam....just my .02

They make one specifically for the higher compression application. I'd rebuild, but i'd have to get heads anyway since i don't want to run my stock iron heads, and i've got the smallest cam that came in a 6.0L factory. And I can get the LQ9 service replacement cheap, with no core charge, and it would minimize downtime on my daily driver. I guess I should have posted this in the truck v8 performance section, wasn't paying attention, i'm not frequent poster here, maybe someone could move this?
