Rear end swap
A friend of mine blew his rear the other day. He has the option to get a rear from a 2002 Z28, and I was wondering if it will fit in his car. He has a 1994 Z28. Any help would be appreciated.

if he doesnt have traction control, and the car he is getting it from doesnt have traction control either, then that means the ABS on both will be interchangable, if not, im not sure what options he has, since the traction control has a 4 channel abs system an the non traction control rear has a 3 channel abs system.
also, the LS1 year axles are slightly shorter to allow for bigger brakes, ive heard people having brake wearing problems with swapping their LT1 brakes on the ls1 rear... so they end up swapping the brake settup for an LS1's. that is unless he is getting a rear with brakes installed already, then hes good to go.
besides those two things, everything else should work.
