I want to know if all the late model chevy motors are externally or internally balanced. I was told by a machinist that the flywheels are factory spec'd to a certain balance and that they are not perfectly balanced. Is this true?

SO the machinist is right then???? The flywheel are out of balance for a reason??

Flywheels are rotationally balanced (kinda like a tire/wheel)..
