Default What backspace and offset do I need?

I know alot of you guys out ther have or know someone that has TT II's on there F Body. I need to know what offset and backspace I need for 17X9.5's or 18X9.5's. All of the wheel places I talk to around here are telling me they can only get 17X8's to fit my car because of the offset and backspacing and I know that's wrong. I'm also thinking about some Boyd Smoothie II's in these same sizes. Thanks for any info.

For the 17" x 9.5" TT's the offset is 44 or 46 mm.
