Unhappy tach problem

guys,
installed an autometer tach on my 2000 ta. i spliced the fraid wire in the red pcm pin #10 (white wire). Nothing happens... The tach is set for 4 banger... could it be the splice... I did the oll cut`em and wind`em... Maybe i should salder them, but even so, shouldnt i reed something????

what year car is yours? does your stock tach still work?

its a 2000, yes it works, the autometer even sets when you start the vehicle, it seems it just gets no input...

I've never wired one up so not sure what else to check... but we know the right wire was spliced..

Sorry about the hijack, but wanted to ask Mike a quick question.

Mike, did you have any problems like this poster hooking this tach wire up to the LM-1?
