Question Help Identifying a LS6 Oil Pump

Anybody know how I can identify? it I'm about to buy one from a guy and just want to make sure it's the real deal.

I thought they were the same? Just called an LS6 pump for marketing.

Correct. The LS1, LS6 and LS2 oil pump is the same part number if you call dealer for the replacement part.

Wouldnt there be a date stamp on the case? If so, stick with 01 or 02.
