Default front tire question

i have 15x3.5 pro stars and i have some 185/60/15's on it, i need a taller tire because my longtubes are scraping the ground, doesn anyone know where i can get a taller radial tire? i dont want to go with mickey thompson 28" fronts just yet because i daily drive the car in the summer time and i heard they dont last too long, any help would be greaty appreciated.

Well, your current tires are under 24" tall (23.7"). One of the most common size skinnies that people are running are the 165/80/15, these are about 25.5" tall. You can pick up some Kumho tires in this size at TireRack for under $30 a peice.

Also what kind of front shock and spring combo are you running in the front? If your scraping at speed they might have something to do with it. If you switched to a QA1 or similar shock you would also be able to adjust your front ride heigth too.

I measured my 165Rs earlier and they are only 25". Not sure if all 165Rs are the same or not.
