Default Tech Tip: Fpss Reposted

I had a couple of people looking for this information, thought I would repost it.

To set the FPSS you will need a gauge away to turn your fuel pressure up or down, or use compressed air with a regulator and some time. Turning the fuel pressure to what you want the set point to be lets say 35 psi. Now with a ohm meter just turn the set screw on the top of your fpss, clockwise to raise the pressure and counter to lower the pressure. If you show continuity at 35 turn the set screw counter clockwise until the contact open, turn 1/2 round more and now start turning clockwise until the contacts close. once they close your switch has been set at the 35psi. Remmber that you do not want to set this switch to close to your real operating pressure, you will get an on/off/on problem that will drive you nuts.
