Put the Trans Am in the Shop
Well, after almost a year I couldn't take looking at the dammage any more. I took the Trans Am to the body repair shop. They are going to work with me and the insurance company to get the car fixed right. I took them in the insurance estimate and they just laughed. They did not even look at all of the dammage to the car when they made it so the shop is going to call the insurance guy and have him come back out to look at the car. I have known this shop for about 25 years and they always treat me good.
My biggest problem with doing this earlier was not the money but the vinyl. I just got $600 worth of vinyl put on the car and now they are going to have to take it all off in order to fix it. Bummer. So I have been working with a shop locally to replicate the kit for when it comes out of the shop. Hopefully I can get it all put back together rather quickly.
