Default Any interest in a Ellis built TH700R4?

I'm thinking about selling it to free up space in the garage and to offset some of the cost of my laminate floor install that I'll be doing in my living room. The transmission ran great in my 1990 C2500 series truck behind a 383. Never a problem since it was rebuilt by Ellis. I think it has about 8,000 miles on it since it was rebuilt. I had the transmission rebuilt and drove it for about a year before I went overseas to work. I made my Fiance drive it once a week to make sure it kept fluids moving and kept running good. It's been sitting in my garage since April 2004 when I pulled it and sold the truck.

No core charge and it comes with a good stock convertor. I'm thinking $700 with the convertor is a good price.

This transmission was carrying 343 rwhp and 353 rwtq through a heavy 14 bolt rear end. It'll take some abuse.

If you're talking about a TPI engine it will. However a stall convertor would make it much more fun. That engine I was running was closer to a 375 RWHP if it was in a F-body. A 14 bolt truck rear end soaks up some HP with the big ring gear and the 3/4 ton heavy brake package. I'm not sure how the f-body tq arm connects to the rear of the transmission. If there is a special tail shaft housing you would have to swap it over from the car its in.

LOL Just Talked to Dan & he said if things work out we should have one of the Cars sold on Saturday & should have the money then. The guy comes back from Sea tomorrow.

He says if it works out then we can get the tranny......... I should have the extra cash to do that & extra money incase the block is no good on friday.(I get paid on friday but it isnt going to be that much since I was off work for a full week)

Waiting on a phone call from the shop now.
