Default Man anyone know a good place for truck parts?

I guess I'm just spoiled in the Vette and f-body. But there are crapload more trucks out there fixed up then our cars.

I am trying to spruce the truck up a bit and would like to do it with as little money as possible. If I wanted wheels for the Vette its no problem finding good used stuff. Trying to find some decent six lug 15 x8 with some 33's on them is a WHOLE different story, when you do find them people want new prices.

Anyone know a good source for truck parts like the 73-87 chevys and 88-91 Blazers?

Have you tried some truck forum? Wouldn't know the name of one but should be able to find something since they are the biggest sellers.

I've found some Blazer forums but the classifieds are pitiful, basically stock crap or old beat up rusted crap.

I haven't found a good one for 73-87 trucks which is wierd, seems like it would be easy, maybe I'm just not looking hard enough Maybe I should just sell it and buy a 92 Tahoe, I can find 20's used all day long for those...

Summitracing is good for performance parts. Try LMCtruck.com, http://www.73-87chevytrucks.com, and fullsizechevy.com, which is an awesome message board for the full size chevy pickups. I'm Loudnfast91 over there.

You'd def. want a 15x10 or even 15x12's with a 33/12.50 tire, not 15x8's. They look MUCH better with a dish to them IMO...

Have you tried eBay for anything? Wheels and tires would be expensive to ship but there should be lot's of other stuff. Also, like mentioned, LMC is a great source for just about anything you could want for a 73-87 GM pickup. JCWhitney actually carries a lot of stuff for those years too. I got a molded carpet from them about 10 years ago for my 1980 Chev. The fit/quality was excellent and the price could not be beat. Light Truck Parts in Portland is a great source for used pieces.

Hope that helps ya buddy.

Yeah but with 15 x 10's I'm looking at lifting it a bit, and finding a used lift is even harder But you are right my cosmic twin (inside joke) I wouldn't be happy with 8's. HELL I'm even starting to think of something like 15 x10's with 305/60/15 BFG radial TA's off course that would mean the end of my wheeling days........

I'll check out light trucks parts I need a couple of interior peices that I can't find in LMC
