Default Walbro 255 Inline pump, what sie are supplied fittings? 5/16" or 3/8"

Just a quick question here.
With the Walbro GSL392 255LPH inline fuel pumps, are the supplied barb fittings to suit 5/16" or 3/8" hose?

Seems the Walbro comes with 9mm metric, 5/16" is just under 8mm and 3/8" is just on 9.5mm.

Would using 3/8" (9.5mm) hose be alright or too loose of a fit?
