Personal best for 346 N/A C5
I drove down to Steele, Alabama on Saturday to test some new ideas. They had a 1/8 mile bracket race, so I entered it even though I really wanted to run 1/4 mile. I made it to the last four cars and redlighted. Here are my times:
R/T 60' ET MPH
.019 1.625 7.169 97.17
.048 1.513 7.029 97.47
.016 1.500 7.018 97.44
.005 1.506 7.032 94.39 on the brakes at finishline
.024 1.510 7.029 97.47
.067 1.518 7.025 98.59
redlight pass not included

I hope to run on a quarter mile track soon, so I can get a 10 sec timeslip. The car is a 2000 C5 coupe, with a stock short block, ported heads, cam, headers, FAST intake and NW TB, convertor, gears, ET Streets, and ALOT of tuning. I drive it to every track that I race at and on vacation to the beach or cross country. I didn't want a radical race car, I wanted to build a fast street car. I'm pretty happy with the results.

My heads (LS6) and cam (224/228) are from CNC heads out of St. Pete, FL. I have been running this same combination for about three years and have had good success with it.

I'd say a high 10 second pass is possible. Once you hit the 6.9 range in the 1/8, you're in the 10.9-10.8 1/4 time range. Good times, and congrats on going some rounds, nice consistency!
