Firestone Firehawk SZ50 EP

Ended up losing one today on the way to work to a blade from a utility knife. Insta-flat at 55 mph, so place to stop, to big a hole to fix. Mondays...
Firestone quit making these, so can't match it for replacement. Tread is about 50% or so. Free to anyone who may want it.

Har Har, hell no. I did get a Bill Engvell moment when an old timer from the shop I pulled off near came out to "lend a hand." With an inch long hole through the tire, it was 110% flat. I'm setting the jack and he squats down next to me and I knew it was coming. I had to bite my lip so hard....

"So, got a flat tire?"

in my head... "Nope, it's a new style of tire and I'm flipping it over to use the round side. Here's your sign."

Don't hesitate to give out those signs EVAR. People like that need to get out of the gene pool no matter how old they are

I'm trying to figure out a good use for that tire - I might have one but need to figure some tree-ground clearance

Hey, that works! I bet it would get a lot more mileage than it would have on my car.

Oh, and I failed to mention this kindly man relocated the jack for me while I was getting the spare out. I didn't notice until I got the car partway up. Fortunately it didn't bend the sheetmetal too bad. Ugh. Dangit! I can't get started on this again or I'll be bitching about it for another 3 hours!
