Need help, stumbling badly after sitting all winter
So it's pretty nice outside and I decided to pull the SS out of the garage and go for a spin.
It seems like anything near half throttle and above causes the car to stumble. I'm about to do a PCM reset and see if that solves anything.
Here is a little background:
I got rid of my TSP true duals because of ground clearance issues I was having. I bought a Hooker Cat-Back and used the Kook's ORY. The y was banging badly and the car began misfiring (false knock). Well, I have since removed the y since for the life of me I can't get it stop banging.
I have gone back to the TSP setup until I get my Lanes which will be soon hopefully. Anyway, I don't think it's misfiring because the SES light would be flashing. It feels like the PCM is just pulling timing.
Anyone else experience this? I could use all the help I can get.
Thanks,
Matt

I already scanned for the SES codes, and the only ones there are emissions related (AIR and rear o2's). I have autotap so I can make some logs if you guys want to see anything that might be helpful. Just let me know what parameters you'd like me to log.
Thanks again

Alright, I reset the PCM and just got back from driving about 15 miles. The stumbling is a little better, but is still very noticeable. Also, it seems to happen only in the 1800-2500 rpm range. It doesn't stumble at all at WOT.
My duals have real Shi**y welds. I mean real Shi**y, if I sent you guys some pics you'd be like WTF? But, they've looked like this since the end of last fall. Think it could be the cold air combined with an exhaust leak?
I might run some STP fuel system cleaner through for the first time. I've only got 20,000 on the clock and she's been started at least every other week for 20 minutes or more every winter while stored.
Anyone?? I suppose the next step would be to pull the plugs, but like I said before this doesn't happen at WOT.

I'd rather not pull the plugs just yet. I'd like to exhaust any "easier" options first. Thanks for the reply though white2001s10

Okay, I'll guess I'll pull the plugs. It's not really that bad considering I've deleted AIR and have LT's.
Could it be that the maf is bad or the sensors are dirty? At WOT the PCM no longer uses the MAF when delivering fuel right?

you probaly get away with out pulling the plugs. Alot of the performance cars do this after sitting (porsches do it if they sit for a week or 2) italian cars are famous for it thats why they call it an italian tune up. go out and run the car hard it will clean the plugs out 99% of the time.

Hopefully it will work itself out. But if it doesn't I'm worried I may be causing more damage by floggin it. We'll see.
BTW Brad, are the same ta12sec on sembmusclecarclub.com? If so, PM me, I'd like to have some work done if you're still available.

Well, I only had about a quarter tank before I stored it. I filled her up on Friday which is when the stumbling began. I thought for sure it was because the pavement was cold and I wasn't getting **** for traction with my Nitto's. I wrote it off as a traction problem cause that's what it feels like. The gas is brand new Marathon 93.

i always store my car for the winter with a full tank and stabilizer. i was always told it was best to store with a full tank. also, store it on jack stands and/or take the wheels and tires off to prevent flat spots and cracking.

You should have stored it with a full tank of gas and stabilizer. Storing it with a 1/4 tank will allow condensation to form in the tank. Unfortunatly that could mean you have water in your fuel.
