Definitely use relocation brackets if the car is lowered. Pinion angle has been debated countless times due to difference in measuring technique. Honestly after f-ing around with it on the street and at the track I stuck the gauge on the TA mount by the rear end
turned the TA until I saw -2 on the gauge (front of pumpkin facing downward slightly) and that was it. This resulted in less road noise and helped me to achieve the ET/60-ft in my sig. Of course the TCI 3800 amd MT DR's did most of the work.

With my 10 bolt (and the 9" in my 71 Lemans) I also set it at -2 degrees. I never tried any other angle...
I guess I'll stick with that and hope with the 12 bolt now my PT4000 and new ET streets will get my 60' down. And still be street friendly with drag radials
Anyone having success with a different setting?
Without relcation bracets?
