Default Knock Sensors

Dumb question but I just wanted to know can you run an ls1 without knocksensors?

yes. You can turn them off in the pcm. They monitor for knock and will retard if they hear it. Not necessary to run the car though.

Just bear in mind though, sometimes it's the knock you can't hear that'll get ya. IMO, don't turn them off unless this is a strictly track car.
