Default Soon to be LS1 owner for the first time.

I currently have a 2003 Mustang GT that has run a best 7.95 @ 84 with a 1.65 sixty. This was accomplished with basic bolt-ons and weight removal. I'm in the market for a low mileage A4 WS6 or Firehawk. My questions is what mods are needed to get me in the same area or better than my stang? I would like to run 7.50 1/8 mile times before getting into cam changes. Is this possible?

I'm new to this LS1 stuff... Mods I know of now is LID, headers, true dual exhaust, throttle body, gears, 3500 converter (will be spraying later), underdrive pulley, electric water pump and short belt plus basic weight reduction (passenger seat, rear seat, weld pro stars, jack and spare).

I know this may be the basic newb question, however, through searching, I am not able to find that many full bolt-on, stock cam numbers. Thanks for the help.

with a good tire and some seat time, you may run 11's (7.50-.60) depending on weight.
