Default Hissing/whistling sound after H/C

I just finished a H/C swap (TEA 5.3 and FM11) and everything went fine...as far as I know

The only thing I notice is this hissing/whistling sound. I wanted to get your opinions as to what it is or could be before I tried to diagnose it myself. It only does it after reving the engine some, not while idling. <Video below>

Thanks

My FMS cam does that too. Other guys with Futral cams have mentioned that whistle also.
At first I thought my air lid was not tight enough, but after inspection everything was fine.
I guess its just how they sound.
Doesn't bother me

It doesn't bother me either, but want to make sure. The airbox popped into my head too, but I didn't have time today to go out and check.

If anyone has any ideas if something could be wrong, chime in.

How could a certain cam make it whistle? Did you change your tb? I've heard of some aftermarket tb's making a whistling sound.

No throttle body change. "Normal" stuff done with a H/C...pushrods, timing chain, etc.

My G5X2 was bigger than my Futral cam, and it didn't whistle.
Maybe these Cam Motion cams like to whistle .

My cam is somewhat close in specs and it doesn't whistle.....just made my car sound like a sewing machine! Anyways, that's interesting......maybe some more guys with futral cams will chime in.

I had a whistle after Stealth II cam swap and it ended up being TB related. I took it off, cleaned all carbon deposits and idle sensor area well and no more whistle.
Also had to readjust idle srew VS pcm idle settings.

ttt...

What about the gaskets on the intake manifold? The car has 21K miles on it. When reinstalling the manifold we did initially torque to 106 in-lbs, higher than the 44 in-lbs, 89 in-lbs specifications. But I went back and redid them.

Possibly. Does the car idle high?

It's about 1000-1100. But after it's been running for a little bit, it drops to 900. It also hasn't been tuned yet.

Some other guys on one of my forums are guessing at that too, the intake seals possibly. I'll have to get around to pulling the intake off and checking the seals and the wires behind the manifold.

My F13 whistles at part throttle also. Not sure about WOT (the exhaust is too loud), but it doesn't do it at idle. No idea what causes it, but it doesn't bother me one bit.

I posted in the other thread too. Mine has the FM13 and I've changed every damn part on it including changing to an LSX 90 setup and it still whistles. My friend just installed the FM11 and it does the same thing. Very weird!

Did anyone ask Allan or Candy about the phenomenon?
