Hooker headers installed!!
Oh god yes.
I went to a place here in cleveland, TN called in tune motor sports.
The guys were really nice.
so on to the good stuff.
I dyno my car before (i'll have a scan of the sheet up monday or tuesday and edit this thread), and i hit around 270hp (mustang dyno, for those wondering about the super low *** number).
So the headers go on, and the cat comes off. as do of course all the required tuning happens.
Then the weird started, my fuel pump was giving up at around 5200 rpm.
The guy with the HP tuner software said "Let's try this." and told the car to throw 100% of the fuel pump and not leaning out the motor.
still gave up. so my next mod, FUEL PUMP!
But the meat of the story, after all was said and done. i gained 22+ hp off hooker lt headers, cat delete. and a tune. I'm happy =)
very happy.
car feels a LOT faster. and now i feel as tho i drive a real ls1 complete with the floor board knocking when i hammer it, and the car SCREAMING when i take off....all the time.
Ah, good times.

Cleveland TN ? where are you now?
I take it your not in Kansas any more!
I dont think I like it when you say you hear 'floor board knocking'. I might be pissed! congrats on the 22hp. If you can send me a pm on the total cost, maybe i will head to cleveland.

Update: Dyno sheet is off!
laff away at my lack of HP. but in my defense, it IS a mustang dyno.
