Default WOT fuel trim questions

ok well i went to the track and ran and the fuel trims at WOT, this is the first time i have had a WOT run for tuning, showed to be 7 on bank one and 4 on bank 2, what could cause difference in the trims like this from bank to bank??

also, they showed in the histogram +6, so i tuned the ve table for that. do i only tune the pe table when the fuel trims are zeroed and i need to further adjust rich or lean conditions?? thanks

Ideally you want the trims to lock at 0 so that you don't have variations in your fueling. That's pretty common to have a little spread between the banks so don't worry about that. If one was like 18 and the other one was 7 then you got a problem but a spread of three isn't a big deal. Are you still running the maf? If you are, you may have to just scale it to get the trims negative.

no i have no maf, im finishing up the SD tuning, i havent got to the pe yet, still doing the VE table. i figured i would have to do the VE until all the trims are 0% then worry about PE, right?

Yeah, get the fuel trims done first. -4 to 0 is good enough. Don't worry about getting them all perfect. You just want them all to be slightly negative.
