Put car in gear and it dies

Put car in gear and it dies What would cause the car to die when you put it in gear. Idle is set at 950 on a stroker motor. Where should I start looking?

well, if you could give a little more info on your setup and more importantly, any recent changes that you have made.
things like did you just install the motor? did you swap any parts on it? Did you have the computer recently tuned? who did it? u know wat i mean, things like that.
wat i would do first is to check for a vacuum leak somewhere in the intake section (manifold, tb, etc) ALso, check the tune, maybe your not getting enough fuel...(im not a pcm expert so maybe someone else could chime in) also, check for a fault 02 sensor or anything like that....
a bit more info would help us help you....

More info Here is the set up,
396 offset stroker
4.060 bore
Ls6 intake
Stage 3 heads
all bolt ons
Mac mid length
Tuned in Illinois,
Stage 4 trans
the car ran good last year before I put it away. Now I try to get it out of the garage and it dies. I did put on the scanner and on one ltbank I am getting +8 the other is at 0. What other info can I provide?
