Car wont shift, just kinda sputters?? Nevermind the car was just on its period I guess. It just freaked out for some reason. Whatever

Is it hitting the rev limiter?
I would check the crank position sensor also. Mine would do that at low RPM's though. Its like $30-$50 bucks for a new one.
If that is not it. I also was having problems with the tranny not wanting to shift going down the track. I would have to let out for it to shift. That wound up being the shift solenoid in the tranny. I changed shift points and all trying to fix it when i Auto tapped it. I got the shift solenoid code.
